Vice chairman: Jay Wright
Jay has been a Lincoln City fan all his life. His parents were both born and bred in the city, and his dad was on the books of the Imps as a teenager. Jay was elected as the club's Vice Chairman on 1 July 2020, after being a director for three years.
He had a nomadic childhood, being born in Peru, while living in St Albans, Derby, Cheshire and Houston all by the age of nine-years-old. Jay has spent all his working life in the drinks industry, initially with FTSE top 100 drinks and leisure business, The Greenalls Group, before leaving to start his own direct-to-consumer wine business, Warehouse Wines, in 2000.
Jay merged his business in 2008 with Virgin Wines, becoming CEO of the new expanded business at the same time. After many years of consistent growth, he led an IPO of Virgin Wines in 2021, floating the business on the stock exchange for £110m. Virgin Wines remains one of the most dominant forces in drinks retaining in the UK and is also proud to be a platinum partner to Lincoln City.
Jay is married with three boys (all huge Lincoln City fans) and spends his weekends at his family home in the Lake District, and his weeks in the Virgin Wines business in Norwich, all in between fitting in as many Imps matches as possible.
