Director of legal and football administration: Richard Parnell
Richard Parnell is the Director of Legal and Football Administration, where he is responsible for all legal and governance issues, including being head of football administration.
Richard is a qualified solicitor and spent over 15 years in private practice with two local firms before joining Sunderland AFC as an in-house commercial solicitor.
Richard subsequently moved to Lincoln City on the club’s return to the Football League in 2017, being part of the back-office staff when we won the EFL Trophy in 2018 and subsequently gained promotion to League One by winning the League Two title in 2019.
