Brogan Pugh is excited for the challenge of travelling to league leaders Loughborough Lightning on Sunday 04 February.

The Imps are currently enjoying a four match unbeaten run in the league, and are hoping to continue that against high-flying Loughborough.

Pugh said: “Ever since Christmas finished and we came back we’ve been stronger than ever, training’s been amazing and the vibe has been great.

“Loughborough are on a really good run of form, but so are we. Our games have been really positive, our recent performances have been great so we’re excited going into the weekend.”

Pugh earned her first starts for the senior team in 2024 following an impressive cameo against Leafield Athletic, and the full-back is hoping to continue proving her worth to the squad.

She added: “I feel like I’ve been trying a lot harder, and I’ve been proving myself, and it’s nice to get recognised. 

“All the girls that have come into the squad recently have been amazing, and they’ve all been pulling their weight, so it’s now just a case of all of us continuing to prove ourselves.”
