Leah Hardy is hoping that City can carry their performance against Boldmere St Michaels into their game against Sutton Coldfield Town.
Despite ultimately falling to defeat against the Mikes, it was a close contest with the Imps conceding a late goal in injury time.
Hardy said: “We’ve just got to take into consideration the game on Sunday - Boldmere were a very tough side.
“So we’ve just got to do exactly what we did against them against Sutton Coldfield. We’ve not faced them yet, they’re a new team in the league, so hopefully we can perform well.”
Hardy starred in City’s loss against Boldmere, scoring a stunning goal from 35 yards.
She added: “Prior to that I had a free kick go just over the crossbar, so I thought I needed to somehow make sure I scored to make up for it.
“I just turned and shot and luckily the ‘keeper was off her line, and it went straight in.”
