Toni McHamilton is hoping to continue the momentum gained from their FA Cup victory as they welcome Sporting Khalsa to Lincoln Moorlands.
The striker bagged two goals in the Imps’ 4-3 triumph over Lichfield City, but return to league action against a tough Khalsa side.
McHamilton said: “It’ll be a tough test and a tough game.
“Sporting Khalsa are doing well, they’re well up there in the league but we go into the game full of hope and momentum from the win against Lichfield, so we’re hoping for a good game.”
City have gone toe-to-toe with several good sides in this division so far this season, and McHamilton is confident that the Imps will cause problems against high-flying Khalsa.
She added: “No game is easy in this league, but we just take each game as it comes, we prepare the same and we’ve just got to focus on our game - we’re excited and looking forward to the challenge.”
