Striker Leah Hardy has returned to the Imps to bolster Lee Mitchell's attacking options heading into the final games of the season.

Hardy moved to Doncaster Belles, a club she had previously represented as a youngster, earlier in the season but has opted to return to Lincolnshire where she had spent two seasons.

City Manager Lee Mitchell said: “We're delighted to have Leah back, we understand why Leah wanted to explore her options but we feel we are the right fit for her.

"Our fans know what she is all about and I'm sure they will be as excited as us to see her pull on the red and white stripes again.

"We'd like to thank the Belles for their understanding and assistance, and wish them well for the rest of the season."
