Lucy Farrow is dreaming of silverware after her first hat-trick for City set up a Lincoln derby in the final of the County Cup.
Farrow’s three strikes set the foundations for Sunday’s 6-1 semi-final success over Stamford, with Lincoln United waiting in a tantalising decider set to be played at the Jakemans Community Stadium in Boston on Sunday 23 April.
She said: “The main thing was the result, but I’m happy to get my first hat-trick for the Imps. We ground out the result and were clinical when it came to finishing.
“Everyone loves playing in a final - it’s one game to give your all. I won the County Cup with Nettleham but it’d be great if we could do it again with Lincoln City.”
Toni McHamilton, Katy Thornley and Abi Ringrose were also on target in the victory. Farrow says the result will act as a springboard for Thursday’s visit of Peterborough United in an FAWNL Division One Midlands clash.
She added: “Back to back wins would be a good thing as we look to build some momentum until the end of the season.”
