Millie Quaintance and her team-mates have been working hard off the pitch to ensure they’re ready to face Sporting Khalsa on Sunday 10 December.
Following last week’s postponement, City will return to action against an in-form Khalsa side at Lincoln Moorlands.
Quaintance said: “I’ve been trying to do bits in my own time and at weekends when games have been cancelled to try and get some minutes in my legs, and some of the other girls have been doing the same.
“Obviously we’ve also been training hard so we are fully fit and ready for the game.”
Quaintance also said she’s enjoying the versatility of her role in the team, with the summer signing playing in several different positions so far this season.
She added: “I have been enjoying it, it’s definitely something new for me.
“Previously I have played at full-back, but being in the back three is something different, but I like the challenge and I’m willing to do it for the team.”
