Maddi Green is eager to help her team fight for victory as they travel to league leaders Loughborough Lightning.

After a hard-fought draw against Leafield Athletic, the Imps are preparing for a tough match against Lightning.

Green said: “We’ve been training on things that we need to develop on and I feel like it’s really helped us.

“It’s definitely going to make us more confident and prepared and ready for when we go and take them on.”

City are aware of the challenge that awaits them, but are hoping to get back to winning ways.

She added: “Everyone is definitely eager to get that win, to get the three points.

“It’s definitely something we want to take on and get as high as we can in the league.”
