Upp gives support to Lincoln City Women by becoming shirt sponsor for the Imps’ 23/24 training top.
Local and independent broadband provider Upp, has been supportive of Lincoln City for the past couple of years, having been one of the sponsors of the successful Lincoln half marathon in 2022.
The Peterborough-based company, which is quickly expanding its full-fibre network across Lincolnshire, sent Campaign Manager, Mary Freeland, to launch the top at a City training session.
Mary said: “After sponsoring the half marathon last year, we believe that Lincoln City is a great institution to work closely with and share successes.
"We are so impressed by the ambition and success of the Women's team, and by sponsoring the Imp’s shirts, we see this as the continuation of our support of Lincoln City as a whole. As we expand our network further across the county, we look forward to working with the team even more in the future.”
Manufactured by kit provider, Oxen, the training top is mostly black, with red sleeves and has the distinctive ‘grellow’ colour of Upp’s logo on the front.
Supporters can also add the sponsor free of charge to the training kit to match, but will need to ask the club shop when purchasing for this to be applied.
City's director of sales, Andrew Whitham, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Upp as the sponsor for our Women’s 23/24 training top.
"We are proud of the growth of our Women’s team and would like to sincerely thank Upp for its support ahead of the upcoming campaign."
