Millie Quaintance feels she has gelled well with her team-mates as City prepare to play Boldmere St Michaels on Sunday in the determining round of the FAWNL Cup.
Quaintance has quickly settled in with her new side and believes that stands them in good stead ahead of their game against the recently relegated Mikes.
She said: “I’ve settled well into the team; we’ve gelled well and clearly we had a good performance at the weekend.
“Going into Boldmere we should hold our heads high, and I think we should have a good chance.”
The winger made a dream start to the season as she scored the first goal of City’s 23/24 campaign against Notts County.
She added: “It felt amazing to score my first goal for the club, especially to do it in the stadium - it was awesome.
“To have the fans there as well, I really couldn’t have asked for a better debut.”
