City Women have confirmed the capture of Brogan Pugh as their fourth signing of the summer.
The attacking full-back joins alongside Olivia Standeven and Summa Betts from Nottingham Forest and further strengthens Lee Mitchell’s squad ahead of the Imps’ first match of the new season against Notts County.
She said: “The opportunity to train was presented to me, and it was too good of an opportunity to turn down. I came to training and it was awesome, and I knew straight away that this was the club I wanted to be at.
“I’m so excited, I feel like this is the step up that I needed. It’s going to be a challenge, but it’s one I’m excited to get my teeth stuck into.”
City’s head coach Lee Mitchell added: “Brogan adds strength and depth to our back line and is comfortable playing in either full-back position.
“As well as her defensive abilities, she also has pace and isn’t afraid to get forward down the wings.”
