Lincoln City Women have completed the signing of teenage centre-back Olivia Standeven.

Olivia joins the club ahead of the Imps’ fourth pre-season friendly against Hull City on Sunday 6 August.

She said: “I’m really excited about joining, it’s a big step forward for me. I’m looking forward to making my senior debut.

“I’m looking forward to playing with the girls, they all seem really nice, and they’ve all been very welcoming. It’s a big step, but I’m really looking forward to it.”

City’s head coach Lee Mitchell added: “Olivia joins us from Nottingham Forest as a strong, no-nonsense centre-back.

“As soon as we saw her, we knew she would be an exciting player to work with, and she will be a great addition to our current squad.”
