Freddie Draper joined the Imps as a first-year scholar from Sky Bet Championship side Derby County in the summer of 2020. 

In July 2021 Draper signed his first professional deal with the Imps and made his debut in October 2021 against Sheffield Wednesday. 

Freddie spent time on loan at Gainsborough Trinity and Irish side Drogheda United at the start of 2023. 

In the 2023/24 season the young forward signed a new long-term deal with the Imps and signed for Walsall on loan in Sky Bet League Two. 

Draper impressed at League Two level, scoring 10 times in 24 appearances before being recalled to the LNER Stadium in January 2024.
