Chris Cohen returned to the Imps to further strengthen City’s coaching team in November 2024.

Cohen was part of the coaching structure for the second-part of the 2023/24 season, joining ahead of the run which saw City almost reach the play-offs. He also had a spell with the club previously that season.

Having had a spell at Championship side Stoke City earlier in the 2024/25 campaign, Cohen also has Premier League coaching experience having been assistant to Nathan Jones at Southampton, continuing their partnership from their hugely successful time at Luton Town. He also had previous coaching roles at Nottingham Forest, following an illustrious playing career in the Garibaldi red.
