Marshall joined the academy in July 2024 following his return from leading an academy programme in Dubai. 

Marshall has held a range of roles within football, bringing experience in education, welfare, mentoring, management, coaching, video analysis and talent identification having worked for Sunderland Girl's Academy, Middlesbrough Foundation and Academy and Juventus' international academy in Bahrain. 

Marshall holds qualifications in in areas such as player care, youth mental health first aid, mentoring, talent identification and the German UEFA B license.
