Sam joined Lincoln City in July 2023, initially as youth development lead before taking on the professional development phase lead role in January 2024.

Prior to this, Sam’s playing career included time at Swindon Town, Chelsea, Brentford and Fram which saw him compete in the English Football League, Europa and Champions League. Sam also represented England at Under 16, 17, 18 and 19 levels.

Sam started his coaching career at FH working with various age groups from Under 12 to Under 19, winning national championships with both the Under 14 and 19 age groups and completing his UEFA A Licence.
