City completed the signing of Jay Benn in the summer of 2022 from Halifax Town.

Benn made 12 appearances for the West Yorkshire side coming through the youth system at The Shay. 

Since his arrival at the LNER Stadium, Jay has gained valuable first team experience out on loan at Bohemian FC in Ireland, and most recently Solihull Moors, returning to the Imps at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.
