City entered their home game against Northampton Town making two changes from the side that defeated Stockport County on Saturday.
Ethan Hamilton comes in as a replacement for Ethan Erhahon, with City's medical staff waiting to assess the extent of the injury he suffered against Stockport County this weekend.
Tom Hamer replaces Lewis Montsma, who impressed in his first league start of the season but moves to the bench as his minutes are managed following a return from a knee injury.
Jovon Makama also returns to the matchday squad after recovering from the groin injury he suffered in the win over Leyton Orient, and he takes a place on the bench.
Head coach Skubala said: "We're trying to manage Lewis back to his best - starting two games so close to each other is a red flag. It's the nature of the league that you lose players through injury and we have to bring people in.
"It's exciting to have Jovon back and he's chomping at the bit to play.
"It's a squad game now and everyone has to be ready to come off the bench and make an impact."
