Conor McGrandles and Ben House returned to the starting XI for the game at Northampton Town.

Head coach Michael Skubala made those two changes from the midweek Vertu Trophy game against Bolton Wanderers.

Zach Jeacock kept his place in goal with George Wickens missing due to a shoulder injury.

Bailey Cadamarteri is absent after picking up an injury. He has passed the cut-off point where his parent club Sheffield Wednesday can recall him, meaning he will remain in Lincolnshire until the conclusion of the 2024/25 campaign.

Skuabla said: "It's not ideal to lose your top scorer and he has done really well for us, but there's no need to get twitchy about him leaving as he's here for the season.

"One person's absence is another person's opportunity and Freddie is ready to come in - he's done well for us and is affecting games. He and Ben House offer us something different up front and hopefully they can score some goals."
