Tendayi Darikwa returned to the starting XI as City faced Mansfield Town at the One Call Stadium.
Darikwa missed Saturday's game at Leyton Orient due to the birth of a daughter, but was back in training on Monday and returned to the side.
James Collins was selected up front after his goalscoring exploits off the bench at Orient, looking to link up again with Jovon Makama who particularly impressed in the second half at the capital.
Adam Jackson came back in alongside Paudie O'Connor in defence, with Lewis Monstma not in the squad as his minutes are managed following his return from a long-term injury. Tom Bayliss also starts the game in midfield, as the final one of four changes made by Imps head coach Michael Skubala.
