Michael Skubala makes four changes to the side for the visit of Huddersfield Town.

One enforced alteration sees captain Paudie O’Connor replaced by Adam Jackson, who will skipper the Imps against the Terriers.

Ethan Hamilton, James Collins and Joe Gardner also come into the side, with Conor McGrandles, Erik Ring and Ben House taking their place on the bench.

Skubala said: “Jacko is back in, and he’s been raring to go. Every cloud has a silver lining and in Paudie’s absence, it gives us a good chance to see what the other centre-halves can do over the next few weeks.

“Ethan Hamilton has been waiting in the wings, and I think tonight is a good opportunity to get him in the side. Conor (McGrandles) has played a lot of games in quick succession recently, so it makes sense to rest him tonight and give Ethan an opportunity.

“Since Joe (Gardner) has been with us, he’s been fantastic off the bench, and everyone has seen what he can do. It’s different starting games and we're looking to replicate his performances from the off.

“It was always the plan to bring James Collins back in the side for this one, with such a quick turnaround in games, it’s really important that we manage the minutes of the entire group. James is our focal point up front and it’s important we have him fresh.”
