Zach Jeacock comes back into the starting XI to face his former club Birmingham City.
The goalkeeper moved from Blues to the Imps in the summer and comes in to replace George Wickens who has a shoulder injury.
That is one of three changes made by head coach Michael Skubala, with Dom Jefferies and Jack Moylan also featuring from the start.
With nine substitutes named in the Emirates FA Cup, Erik Ring and Zane Okoro are added to the bench.
Skubala said: "It's a big game for Zach who used to play here having been with the club since he was a boy, he's calm and has had good moments when he has played for us.
"Away from home we have to be defensively strong and resilient and build our way into the game. We've tweaked our formation to allow that and to go and try and get a result."
