Special edition charity shirt - on sale now!

Erik Ring wears the special edition Lincoln City shirt.

City will raise money for local people in need through the launch of a special edition home shirt to celebrate the launch of Nanna Tate potatoes.

The shirt, which is on sale in store and online now, marks the launch of the new product by Branston - City’s diamond partner and front of shirt sponsor.

And £5 from the sale of each shirt - which will be matched by Branston - will be donated to Let Them Eat Cake, a charity dedicated to helping people on the streets of Lincoln.

It will be worn by the Imps for the visit of Peterborough United on Saturday 25 January.

Simon Telfer, Branston HR director said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Lincoln City again this season, and for our new Nanna Tate brand to be making a special appearance on the front of these limited edition shirts.

“We’re hoping that Lincoln City fans will help us to raise funds for Let Them Eat Cake – a small, but very dedicated group that provides help and support, as well as food, for homeless people in the city.”

Director of sales Andrew Whitham said: “Branston’s launch of Nanna Tate is an exciting development for the company and I’m pleased we’re able to play a role in the launch.

“And being able to help local people in need through the donation to such a valuable good causes is the icing on top of the cake for us.”
