Head coach Michael Skubala was pleased with the dominance his side had against Exeter City - even though they had to settle for a point against the Grecians.
He said: "We performed well and were the better team. We did everything we did against Bristol Rovers, but just couldn't get that goal.
"In the second half we totally dominated them. I'm frustrated with the result but the performance was good. We pushed, got on things, but just missed the goal that everyone wanted to see."
The draw saw City go three unbeaten at home, keeping back to back clean sheets in Sky Bet League One, and Skubala is glad to see improvement in his side.
He said: "The biggest thing for me was that we played fast and quick - that's what we want to be and that's when we create chances. There was only one team that was going to win that game. We just have to keep pushing.
"The consistency of the performances we have put in over the last four games, especially at home have been great. It just shows you how important a first goal is in a game."
Skubala is keen to keep the progress up and is looking forward to the rest of the season.
He added: "Like a lot of teams in this league they came here and made it hard in a low block. Teams are coming here fearful because once we get the first goal then spaces open up.
"We want to keep pushing and getting points but the run is a good chance for us to look ahead towards next season already."
