City assistant head coach Tom Shaw was delighted with the way the team responded to going two goals down early on, as they emerged 4-3 victors away at Crawley Town in the Emirates FA Cup second round.
Paudie O'Connor started the fightback, with Jovon Makama levelling the score before Erik Ring and Jack Moylan made the difference right at the start of the second period.
Shaw said: "It was a disappointing start and we've got a little bit of work to do on the way we start games.
"However, it's all about the response and I wasn't surprised by how the boys went about it. They reset, got back to their jobs, their responsibilities and the game plan. From that point we played some fantastic stuff and completely dominated the football match.
"We had 24 shots today and 14 on target, and there was some nice execution around the goal. We'll put in further work on it but long may the chances continue, because the important thing is we are creating them."
He added: "Hopefully we can get a big draw. The lads have worked hard in two tricky ties to get through, so hopefully we can get a big draw for the football club and the supporters."
