Oisin makes loan move to Boston

Oisin Gallagher has been recalled from his loan at Peterborough Sports and has joined National League side Boston United until the end of the season.

The Republic of Ireland U19 international made 24 appearances for the Turbines, scoring once, after featuring for them 13 times last season.

Gallagher, who can play in central defence or midfield, has featured for the Imps this season with four first-team appearances in the Vertu Trophy.

He will now finish the remainder of the season at fellow Lincolnshire side Boston United in the National League.

Director of football Jez George said: “This is an excellent opportunity for Oisin; the next step at a level higher for him in his young career. He has performed really well for us at centre back in the Vertu Trophy and he is ready for this next challenge.

"With Boston’s set-up, it also allows Oisin to continue training with us once a week, so that we can continue to impact his physical development.

"He will also be working under a very experienced manager in Graham Coughlan who knows what it takes for young players to play in the EFL. We are delighted to work with our close neighbours and hope Oisin can help them to retain their status in the National League.”
