New roles created in Academy

Lincoln City Women players in a pre-match huddle.

City will create two new positions as part of the continued evolution of the club's Academy and women’s football.

A new head of women's football will oversee the women's first-team and all levels of the development pathway supporting the women’s senior side, including a partnership with the University of Lincoln.

Jon Pepper will leave his role of Academy & women’s technical director after spending more than two years helping shape the growth and development of the Academy as well as overseeing the initial integration of Lincoln City Women within the Academy structure and creating a scholarship programme at Riseholme College in partnership with Bishop Burton.

Jon will continue in a part-time consultancy role for the rest of the 2024/25 season, supporting women's head coach Charlotte Dinsdale and the team as well as assisting with the recruitment of a head of women's football.

Calum Oakenfold, currently head of Academy and coaching, becomes head of Academy, while a new head of coaching is to be recruited.

These changes reinforce City's commitment to the Academy and women's football.
