City are back on the road on Tuesday night as they travel to the One Call Stadium to take on neighbours Mansfield Town (7.45pm KO).

Read what head coach Michael Skubala and forward Jovon Makama had to say ahead of the tie, as well as catch up on all the important match information in this preview.

Michael Skubala:

“We started too slow against Orient but in the second half we performed well and took the game to them. There was some real positives in there and we gave them problems, we had a threats and we have to take that into the game on Tuesday.

"We haven't converted draws into wins, but we have picked up points in those games. Mansfield are going to be up for it. They were 3-1 up against Blackpool and looking good. Any team in this league can hurt you.

"There are no easy games in this league and they find themselves in a similar situation to us. We need to make sure that we finish the season as strong as we can."

Jovon Makama:

“As a team we aren't happy with how things are going at the moment. Saturday shows that we are working really hard and how much we want to be winning games.

"Frustration built up over the first half. But how we ended the half with Lewis’ great finish and the second half performance you could see the fight and we didn't want to come off the pitch without giving our all.

"We played well and got a good result the last time we played Mansfield, so we can take the fight we had after conceding against Orient into tomorrow’s game and not come off the pitch without fighting.”

A look at the opposition:

One of the promoted sides to the division last season, Mansfield Town find themselves 15th in Sky Bet League One.

The Stags have seen their form dip since the new year, after starting well in their first season in the third tier since 1976. Nigel Clough's side are winless in their last eight games in all competitions, but did earn a point against Blackpool in an entertaining 3-3 draw last time out.

In the reverse fixture at the LNER Stadium, City swept the Stags aside in comfortable 4-1 win back in September. Goals came from Sean Roughan, Ben House and a brace from defender Adam Jackson.

Form: LLLLD

Top scorer: Will Evans (12 goals)
