City are back at the LNER Stadium this Saturday, when they host Bristol Rovers in Sky Bet League One (3pm KO).
Read what head coach Michael Skubala and goalkeeper George Wickens had to say ahead of the match and catch up with all the important match information in our preview.
Michael Skubala:
“I thought last Tuesday and then last Saturday the fans got right behind us. Against Crawley, even after going 1-0 down, they were fantastic.
“We want to put on performances that make people excited to come here and watch their football.
“There have been games this season where I’ve felt like our performances have been ‘complete’ and the last home game was one of them. We want to replicate that again on Saturday.”
George Wickens:
"I felt like I was in really good form before getting injured. Obviously, there’s never a good time to pick up an injury, but that one was particularly frustrating.
“I carried on working hard, though, and now I’ve earned my place back which is really pleasing.
"I'm learning every day, working with Scott Fry has been good for my development, and I'll progress the more I play at this club."
A look at the opposition:
The Gas head to LNER Stadium this Saturday off the back of consecutive victories against promotion-chasing Huddersfield Town and Bolton Wanderers.
Both wins came on home soil, with Rovers collecting 31 of their 42 points in League One this term at the Memorial Stadium.
Iñigo Calderón’s side will be hoping to improve their fortunes on the road when they visit LNER Stadium. Saturday’s visitors last won on their travels when they beat Cambridge United 1-0 on Saturday 4 January.
