The Imps are back on the road for Sunday as they take on Bolton Wanderers in Sky Bet League One (3pm KO).
Read the thoughts of head coach Michael Skubala and goalkeeper George Wickens, and catch up on vital match information in this preview.
Michael Skubala:
"We've got another tough game again and we've got to patch ourselves up after Boxing Day, but this is the Christmas period which is the bit where games come thick and fast and you have to be on it - you have to be physically and mentally ready to perform. This is the challenge of being a footballer at any level - it's how you go again and how you pick yourself up.
"There were some good things from the last game - we had lots of the ball and territory, even though we didn't turn it into big chances."
George Wickens:
“The good thing about this period is the games come thick and fast so it's an opportunity for us to put the Boxing Day game behind us. Bolton are close to us in the table so we need to go there and be on it.
"The penalty save at Shrewsbury Town would have been sweeter if we'd got something from the game, I always back myself in those moments."
A look at the opposition:
Wanderers are 10th in the table, and go into the match on the back of a frustrating 2-1 home defeat to Barnsley on Boxing Day. Although Klaidi Lolos gave the Trotters the lead, they were pegged back by goals from Davis Keillor-Dunn (80) and Adam Phillips (89).
Ian Evatt has been Wanderer's manager since the summer of 2000, leading them to automatic promotion from Sky Bet League Two that season as well as the EFL Trophy in 2022/23.
Top scorer: Dion Charles (7)
League form: WDWLDL
