City travel to St. Andrews @ Knighthead Park to face Birmingham City in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday lunchtime (12noon KO).
Read what head coach Michael Skubala and defender Sean Roughan had to say ahead of the game, as well as catch up on the important information.
Skubala’s thoughts:
“We know they are a big club. It’s no surprise to see where they are in the league with the depth, finances and resources they’ve got. They’re a really tough team to play against, a really tough place to go so we are going to have to be really on it.
"It’s a good opportunity to see what we can do, and we want to do well in the cup. We will try and do our best to get into the hat.
"We have to be really good without the ball, and make our moments count when we get them. We have got to be us and try to be front footed and try to punch back a little bit.”
Roughan’s take:
“We are going to go there and want to beat them. There’s something to fight for because it's a knockout game. It's a good crowd, good stadium. Some of the lads have never played in it, so it's something new for us. It’s going to be a good day, and we have to go there fighting.
"Ever since I came over here, I’ve felt the love for the FA Cup, the type of cup it is. It's a great cup to be in. It’s not been great for Lincoln in previous years, but hopefully, we can keep kicking on.”
