Lincoln City Foundation 30th birthday gala dinner

Lincoln City Foundation's 30th birthday gala dinner

Lincoln City Foundation are hosting their inaugural fundraising dinner on Thursday 17 October 2024 marking the 30th birthday of the charity.

Join us for an exclusive evening, with the inspirational Olympian Fatima Whitbread MBE as headline guest.

Fatima spent the first 14 years of her life in children’s homes, after being abandoned as a baby, but then went on to break the javelin world record and win world and European championship golds.

She received the Helen Rollason Award at last year’s Sports Personality of the Year Awards, recognising outstanding achievement in the face of adversity.

An inspiration to so many and a tireless campaigner, she will share her insight and experiences of how we can bring lasting improvements to the lives of our vulnerable children and young people.

Lincoln City Foundation is passionate about changing lives in our communities through sport, education and health, and how we can raise aspirations and goals in our young people. We can all play our part in supporting the next generation.

Through hosting the event we aim to raise much needed funding for the Foundation to sustain current projects and the development of future opportunities. Guests will be treated to a three-course meal at our host venue, The White Hart in the historic Bailgate area of the City of Lincoln.

Martin Hickerton, Chief Executive of Lincoln City Foundation said: “We’re incredibly excited to be organising such an event for our local business community to come together and feel inspired to make a difference.

"We will be sharing more details about the work of the Foundation and the numerous programmes that our passionate team delivers. We want this to be an annual event and a night to remember through the stories shared."

A special thank you to our fantastic Lincolnshire businesses, Imp & Maker, The Original Cake Company and Allen Signs, who are supporting our event.
