MJ Kamson-Kamara will spend the 2024/25 season on loan at National League North side Peterborough Sports.
The 18-year-old will continue his development with the step 2 club having signed his first professional contract with the Imps in February 2023.
It will be the centre-back’s second loan spell having gained valuable experience of senior men’s football at Barwell in step 3 during the 23/24 campaign.
He will remain eligible for City’s games in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy.
City’s head coach Michael Skubala said: “MJ has come back this summer in really good shape, impressed us with his physical output and has really excelled in our pre-season fixtures against, among others, Championship opponents.
“This loan allows MJ to continue training full-time with us, which we think is so important for his continued development and provides him with a programme of really competitive senior football in the National League North. The competition rules also enable us to select MJ for the Bristol Street Motors Trophy fixtures, so that is a great incentive for him in the early part of the season.”
