Introducing the Greenlinc Renewables Stand

Four people stand on a football pitch holding a red Lincoln City shirt. Behind them is a stand which has a sign reading "Greenlinc Renewables Stand"

The East Stand at the LNER Stadium will be known as the Greenlinc Renewables Stand for the next two years.

Greenlinc Plumbing & Renewables have extended their platinum partnership with the club, taking on the naming rights for both the stand and the Greenlinc Renewables 200 Club as part of an enhanced package 12 months after first signing up.

Formed in 2020, Greenlinc have quickly become renowned as one of Lincolnshire's leading companies for heat pumps, solar panel and battery systems. They eventually went on to begin installing solar panel and battery systems due to having built a trusted reputation within the local community.

Greenlinc are determined to make Lincolnshire green and help to make renewable energies and renewable advice more accessible to everyone.

Caitlin Haywood, office manager at Greenlinc Renewables, said: "We're pleased to be working with Lincoln City who are right at the heart of Lincoln and our community. We've gained customers because they have seen our name at the ground or been referred to us by someone who has seen our presence, so we've grown quite substantially since starting this partnership.

"Trying to make the world a bit greener is what we're all about. Working with the football club means we've been able to have some really good conversations about conservation and sustainability, both with the club themselves but also, crucially, with other club partners whom we are able to build working relationships with."

City’s director of sales Andrew Whitham added: “This is a perfect partnership for the club as we continue to drive towards environmentally sustainable way of operating, and help our supporters to do the same."
