Oisin Gallagher has joined National League North side Peterborough Sports on a season-long loan.
It will be the Irishman’s second loan spell at the club, spending three months there in the early stages of the 2023/24 campaign. He spent the second half of last season with Drogheda United.
City’s director of football Jez George said: “Oisin has been out of our environment for six months with his loan to the League of Ireland and we think that it will benefit Oisin the most to now train with us every day as he strives to make the next steps towards playing in our first team.
“We do not think those opportunities will come in the first half of this season, except perhaps in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy, so we have needed to find Oisin a fixtures programme within travelling distance of Lincoln at a part-time club with good people who we trust, so that he is playing regularly and we can take responsibility for his day-to-day training programme.
“Peterborough Sports ticks all those boxes so this is a no-brainer and we believe will give Oisin the best chance to continue his development.”
