Charlotte Dinsdale is excited for her squad to have the opportunity to play at the LNER Stadium as they host Worcester City on Sunday 17 November (2pm KO).
It will be a crucial match for the Imps as they look to climb the table, and Dinsdale is hoping for a good home turnout to cheer her players on.
She said: “We’re really pleased to have a game at the LNER Stadium, backed by the club. It’s a great opportunity for the girls, for some of them it will be their first experience playing at a major stadium.
“We absolutely want the crowd to come and help us and show their support, it’s a really important fixture for us. Any boost of a home crowd is really going to help the girls, and some of them that have been around since the start of pre-season need that, and they deserve it.”
City will be boosted by new additions to the team as Dinsdale continues to add depth and quality to her squad.
She added: “We’ve had a couple of new signings that have come in this week. They’re here to boost the squad, there’s no doubt about that and they have done. It’s helped create a bit more of a positive atmosphere, and a bit of belief.
“There’s also a bit of competition for places now which is what we need to get the performances in training so they’re fighting for their places.”
