City's performance analyst intern Jack Dodd will walk 110 miles from Anfield to the LNER Stadium on Thursday 26 September in memory of his brother Stephen who tragically passed away earlier this month.
Stephen supported Liverpool all his life and also enjoyed walks through the Peak District with his friends, with Jack combining the two in a way to raise awareness and commemorate his brother.
Jack said: “Stephen was a great person, an unbelievable brother, and a great friend to those around him. He had a kind heart and was always laughing.
“I’d like to help my family and help others who may be struggling with their mental health by raising awareness through my 110 mile walk.
“I urge everyone to check in with loved ones, make sure they’re okay and give them an extra hug or kiss before they go to bed to make sure they know they’re loved.”
