City’s fixture against Charlton Athletic on Saturday 7 December will be the club’s official foodbank matchday in partnership with the Lincolnshire Co-op.
From 11am - 12.15pm supporters will be welcomed to donate any non perishable food items to help support local people in crisis over the winter period.
Urgently needed food items include tinned soup, tinned meals, tinned fruit, pasta sauce and rice pudding/custard.
Drop-off points will be located at the Red Imps Community Trust pod and Co-op gazebo in the University of Lincoln fan village, the 3G pitch and the Co-op Community Hub.
Fans can also make monetary donations via cash or card by locating one of the several bucket collectors stationed across the stadium footprint, with these subsequently being converted into Co-op food vouchers.
