Everyone at Lincoln City offers their condolences to the family of Brian Baldam, who passed away peacefully on Saturday.

Brian was surrounded by his large extended family in his final moments, and they were comforted by knowing the Imps were victorious on the same day.

Brian was the full-time organiser of the Lincoln and District Football Supporters Club for more than 50 years, starting the role in 1965, helping raise more than £1.6million for club funds through his famous bingo events held at the Drill Hall before moving to Sincil Bank.

Under Brian's guidance the L&DFSC introduced City's player of the Season award for the 1969/70 season, with the Vic Withers Trophy remaining a highly coveted prize which is presented on the pitch after the final game of each campaign.

Brian is survived by his wife Elaine and son Chris. City's supporters are invited to remember Brian by taking part in a minute's applause prior to Saturday's game against Peterborough United.
