Ali Smith has joined Sky Bet League Two side AFC Wimbledon on a season-long loan.
The midfielder joined the Imps in the summer of 2023, making 25 appearances before spending the second half of the campaign at Colchester United.
City’s director of football Jez George said: “This is a good solution for all parties. As Ali’s contract is up at the end of the season, we wish him well at AFC Wimbledon and his future career.”
