City to travel more than 5,000 miles in 24/25 season

The Imps will rack up more than 5,000 miles across the country in Sky Bet League One over the course of their 23 away league fixtures.

The shortest journey of the season will be the 34-mile trip to Mansfield Town, before visiting Peterborough United (51 miles) and Rotherham United (52 miles) as their next closest away days.  

10 sides are based within a 100-mile radius of the LNER Stadium including newcomers into the league Huddersfield Town (79 miles) and Birmingham City (87 miles).  

The Imps’ furthest trip remains the same from the 2023/24 season, with the 253-mile trip to Exeter City remaining on the calendar.  

League Two play-off winners Crawley Town will become the second longest away day of the season at a 192-mile journey from the LNER Stadium.
