City forward Joe Taylor has won the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month award for March.
The 21-year-old scored six goals and picked up a backheeled assist, helping the Imps record an impressive 17 goals throughout the month.
Taylor scored his first career hat-trick for the Imps in the 5-0 win over Bristol Rovers at the LNER Stadium, adding to his brace in the 6-0 win over Cambridge United four days earlier.
The Imps also added to the unbeaten run stretching back towards the start of January during the month with four wins and a draw.
Taylor fought off competition from Ebou Adams (Derby County), Alfie May (Charlton Athletic), and Sam Smith (Reading) to claim the award for March.
Taylor said: “I’ve loved every second of my loan at Lincoln City - the players, coaching staff and everyone around the club have been brilliant and that has been reflected in the performances and results.
“Everything about the club is working for me at the moment. The fans get the LNER Stadium rocking on matchdays, and really get behind us on the road, so this award gives me an extra confidence boost going into the final games of the season.”
City’s head coach Michael Skubala said: “Joe deserves this award for the work he puts in on the training pitch every day - he’s improved as a player throughout his time at the club and has been rewarded with the goals and accolades.
“But he knows he needs a team to score and, while he’s the one whose job it is to put it in the back of the net, he’s also shown his willingness to work for the benefit of the whole team and do whatever is needed as part of the gameplan.”
