Lasse Sorensen was happy to get back on to the pitch against Burton Albion after spending a couple of games on the sideline with injury.
It was the Dane’s first minutes for the Imps since picking up an injury against Leyton Orient.
Sorensen said: “I feel completely fine now. Obviously I was lucky that it wasn’t worse than what it was so I’m very happy to be back and enjoying playing my football.”
Unfortunately, City could not return to winning ways against the Brewers with Burton taking the points in a 1-0 win against the ten-man Imps.
He added: “I thought we were well in control, especially in the first half. I thought we moved the ball well, and it was going to plan, but of course the red changes the game.
“They got the goal straight away, and then obviously there’s a mountain to climb. To be fair I thought we put pressure on, we just needed the goal, but it didn’t come.”
