Matchday guide: Charlton Athletic (H)

There will be operational changes for Tuesday's game against Charlton Athletic due to the aftermath of Storm Babet.

Storm Babet

The club are working with partners to protect the Sincil Bank community, with the water level of Sincil Drain remaining high following the extraordinary rainfall on Friday.

The Sincil Bank pathway is closed from South Park Avenue to the south-west corner of the LNER Stadium footprint, with supporters who usually use that route - including those parking on the South Common - asked to go via the High Street and cross via the bridges on Queen Street or Sewell's Walk.

Pumping trucks will be in operation on Sincil Bank outside the GBM Stand, with pipes running along this road as part of flood prevention measures. This remains open to spectators, but we ask those attending to take extra caution in this area of the stadium before and after the match.

With resources needed to protect the Sincil Bank community and those attending the match, there will be no Foundation activities before the game.

University of Lincoln Fan Village

For those looking to relax and enjoy the matchday atmosphere, there is a wide range of food and drink options in the University of Lincoln Fan Village - including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.

Tipsy Imp will provide a wide range of premium beers and ciders. A variety of soft drinks are also available across the Fan Village.

The Imps retail unit will also be in operation, providing supporters the opportunity to kit themselves out with our home, away, third, goalkeeping and warm-up ranges.

The Red Imps Community Trust will have their stall including old programmes for sale.

Family activities

Unfortunately due to the flood prevention measures in the Sincil Bank area we are unable to operate our normal pre-match fan engagement activities on the 3G pitch or Poacher's Den. The inflatable challenge in the Fan Village will also not be in operation.

Supporter liaison officers

Our SLO team will be around the stadium before and during the game, look out for them or our Here To Help team - they will all be clearly identified. We have a matchday familiarisation opportunity for any supporters who are new to the stadium - this is free and there is no need to sign up, simply head to the ticket office for 5.30pm.

Alan Long, who heads our SLO team, also guides you through what a matchday looks like in this welcome video below.

Audio descriptive commentary

The Imps provide a free audio descriptive commentary service for fans with visual impairments. Headsets and receivers can be collected from the ticket office before the game (from the SLO point 5pm-6pm, then from the ticket office desks).

Fans are encouraged to bring their own headphones where possible to minimise the amount of equipment needed to be shared - the receivers have a standard aux output.

Anyone with questions about the service are asked to contact disability liaison officer Heidi Langham on dlo@theredimps.com.

Teamsheet

The Imps have launched a new, enhanced teamsheet for this season, featuring the starting line-ups and notes from the head coach.

The enhanced teamsheet can be purchased at all home matches for just 50p around the ground from around 6.30pm. These will be available in the ticket office and the Red Imps Community Trust stand in the University of Lincoln Fan Village. For this fixture, Teamsheet+ cannot be purchased from the 50/50 draw sellers at the northern end of the stadium. Alternatively, you can order your copy online HERE.

Find out more information on the teamsheet HERE.

Tickets

We recommend purchasing tickets in advance to beat the queues, but they can also be purchased from the ticket office right up to kick-off.
