Imps to mark Remembrance Day against Port Vale

The club will mark Remembrance Day before City's fixture against Port Vale on Saturday 11 November (3pm KO).

There will be a short ceremony before the match, which includes a bugler performing a rendition of the Last Post.

Supporters are kindly asked to get to their seats earlier than usual to ensure that everybody can watch the commemorations and pay their respects.

Turnstiles will also be temporarily closed during the ceremony. Supporters will be allowed in before and after this closure to ensure background noise is minimised while those inside the ground pay their respects.

The Imps will wear special shirts with poppies on which will then be auctioned off to raise money for the Royal British Legion.

Representatives of the Legion will be in attendance at the game, with volunteers selling poppies outside the ground.

The club have also teamed up with the Legion to produce a unique pin which features the poppy and the club crest which can be purchased in the club shop - click HERE for more information.
