City supporter Peter Stockley and his family will celebrate the life of their late father Henry while sponsoring Sunday’s season finale against Shrewsbury Town.
Peter sadly lost his father Henry on Sunday 1 January 2023 aged 91 and will join together with members of family as match sponsors at the LNER Stadium.
Henry was born on 13 June 1931 in Battersea, London and enjoyed a happy upbringing which included visits to Stamford Bridge to watch Chelsea as a boy growing up.
He later moved to Lincolnshire in 1952 after moving to RAF Digby which is where he spent most of his working life before retiring in 1986.
Henry became an adopted Lincoln City fan after joining son Peter at matches in the early 1980’s and both have since been loyal supporters of the Imps at home and away games.
The club has been a big part of the family's life since attending their first game together and they have enjoyed seeing City’s recent rise up to Sky Bet League One and a Wembley win back in 2018.
Henry enjoyed attending matches with family members in the SRP 200 Club right up until the end of 2022 and will be honoured by loved ones as the Imps aim to end the season with a win against Shrewsbury this weekend.
