City have continued building their squad for the 2023/24 season with the addition of attacking wing-back Jaden Brown.
The left-footed defender has agreed a two-year contract at the LNER Stadium, and joined the Imps ahead of competition from several other Sky Bet League One clubs.
He said: "I'm excited to be here. I want to come here and make an impact - it's all about getting minutes at this stage in my career.
"The players in that role who have been here over the past few years have done well and pushed onto the Championship, I'm here to elevate my game in the same way. I like to chip in with goals and assists, I'm very attacking and always looking to get on the front foot."
Brown is a graduate of the Academy at Tottenham Hotspur, where he played alongside Imps defender TJ Eyoma, and has also represented Huddersfield Town and Sheffield Wednesday, helping the Owls seal promotion from League One via the play-offs last season.
Head coach Mark Kennedy added: “Jaden has all the attributes that we have been looking for in this position. He is quick, powerful, aggressive and will give us another dimension going forward, as Lasse did towards the end of last season on the opposite side of the pitch.
"Jaden is a great age, he is quick and athletic and will be a good addition - and it is great that we have secured his signature in time for him to join us on our pre-season training camp.”
