Carl Rushworth is looking to build on the clean sheet the Imps collected after City's draw against MK Dons.
The 21-year-old said was not beaten at Stadium MK and said credit should go to his team-mates.
He said: “It was a tough point away from home. I thought it was a good result especially when you come to a place like this. I think we did well to keep a clean sheet.
“We obviously had our chances and it’s disappointing we didn't convert them into goals, but we'd be more disappointed if we didn’t have any chances at all.
“Towards the end we had a few good blocks on the line and it just shows everybody is putting their body on the line to secure a clean sheet.”
Rushworth is looking ahead to back-to-back home games as City welcome Burton Albions and Cambridge to the LNER Stadium in the upcoming weeks.
He added: “We’ve built up a bit of form now and we’ve got something big to build on now. With the next two home games at home, it's a really good opportunity for us.”
