Lee Mitchell insists that his side learn from Sunday’s result ahead of an important fixture at Leek Town this weekend.
City Women fell to a 2-0 defeat against Northampton last time out but Mitchell knows there is more to come from his side who will aim to complete a league double over Leek on Sunday.
He said: "We need to go back into training and change things up a little bit to give the players some new ideas.
"We have another away trip against a team which will be fighting for their lives. We need to be ready to battle with these teams."
Mitchell’s side beat Leek 8-3 in the reverse fixture but understands that it will be a difficult place to visit due to the hosts’ character and quality.
He added: "We dominated the game against Leek at home but I do not think that’s a true reflection of them. They are tough games at their place because they have character.
"We are going to have to come ready to play and fight for all three points."
